RMBBQA Event in May

Posted by Steve in Denver on November 27, 2008 at 15:17:10:Members of the RMBBQA and teams already signed up from other states besides Colorado, are going to serve bbq to between 10,000 and 15,000 hungry/generous mouths on May 1st and 2nd. The goal of the event is to raise over $250,000 to donate to research and treatment of a form of Muscular Dystrophy that at this time carries a death sentence with the diagnosis. We have two little boys in one family that have the disease. They are the sons of a police officer here that is a close friend of one of the comp teams in the RMBBQA. So on this Thanksgiving Day, please think of a way that you can help us help these kids. I will be posting a link to the foundation website in the near future.
